Objective

We set BoltChatAI on a mission to uncover the key factors that influence the craft beer preferences of enthusiasts in the UK. Our goal was to explore the motivations behind their love for microbreweries, how branding and storytelling shape their loyalty and what craft beer fans expect from the future of the industry.

By focusing on beer lovers who enjoy craft beer multiple times a week, we wanted to better understand their preferences, how they discover new brands and the role of community events and digital platforms in their craft beer journey.

Methodology and Audience

BoltChatAI’s Qual at Scale platform engaged with a diverse group of craft beer enthusiasts across the United Kingdom. We asked participants about their favourite beer styles, what drew them to craft beer in the first place and how they interact with their go-to breweries.

From their latest microbrewery visits to the importance of packaging, we delved into all aspects of the craft beer experience. This study captures a detailed snapshot of the UK’s craft beer scene, providing insights into the minds of those who enjoy the finer brews in life.
